Who Can Visit?

Temple visits are welcomed from any organised group. We regularly host visits from a wide range of organisations and are happy to tailor the experience to your group's needs.

We regularly welcome school and college groups for educational visits. Our volunteers will guide students through the Mandir, explaining the faith, traditions and daily worship practices. Ideal for RE, PSHE and cultural studies.
Scout groups, guides and other youth organisations are very welcome. Visits can be arranged to support badge work around world faiths and community understanding.
We welcome interfaith and community groups who wish to learn about Hinduism and the Swaminarayan faith. We believe in fostering understanding and respect between all communities.

What to Expect

Our volunteers will guide you through the Mandir and make sure your visit is meaningful and memorable.

Dress Code

Please dress modestly — shoulders and knees should be covered. You will be asked to remove your shoes before entering the main hall. Scarves or head coverings are available if needed.

During the Visit

Visits include a guided tour of the Mandir, an introduction to the Swaminarayan faith, and the opportunity to witness daily prayers and darshan when the altar is open. Photography is permitted in most areas.

Best Time to Visit

Visits between 10:00am and 11:30am offer the best experience as the altar is fully open for darshan. Visits at other times can be arranged, however the altar may be closed during those periods.
